The Tulip Trot is more than just a fun run or walk; it’s a symbol of unity and hope.
Purpose and Importance
Les was a beloved member of the Bluffton community. He served his country in the U.S. Navy, dedicated 30 years to the Veterans Association, and contributed to numerous charitable projects, including Habitat for Humanity. Beyond his professional achievements, he was a kind soul who prioritized family, faith, and giving back to others. Starting the Tulip Trot 5K aligns with his values of community support and service.
We propose hosting this meaningful event right here at Rose Hill, a community known for its welcoming spirit, neighborly pride, and picturesque surroundings. This event will bring together families, friends, and supporters to raise critical funds and awareness for Parkinson’s Disease while creating a memorable experience that honors a man whose life was a testament to enriching the lives of others.
